STATIONARY SINGLE/DOUBLE ACTING AND UNIT TYPE COMPRESSORS
Compressors within the scope of this section are most frequently used for general purpose industrial air supply, but they also find use in off-shore drilling, construction jobs, locomotives, ships, mining and other specialized applications. Product manufactured by section members include single-acting reciprocating compressors of one or two stages, 26HP and larger. Units may be unmounted or mounted on a base, or on an air receiver driven by an electric motor or internal combusion engine from 1/4 HP through 25 HP electric rating for pressure between 40-250 psig. Units may be handheld or mounted on an air receiver/base plate with wheels and handles 1/4 HP through 10 HP, driven electric motors or internal combustion engines. Products of this section also include all single-stage and multi-stage double acting compressors and vacuum pumps, 10 HP and above, regardless of type of driver. SECTION MEMBERS
