The Compressed Air & Gas Institute has published a brochure entitled, “Air Compressor Selection and Application: ¼ HP through 30 HP.” The publication was designed to provide users with basic descriptions of various types of air compressors with emphasis on complete packaged air compressor units most prevalent in sizes from ¼ horsepower through 30 horsepower. Also included is a section that provides technical guidance for the selection of the proper type and size of air compressors for the user’s specific application.

The Compressed Air & Gas Institute, Inc., is a non-profit organization of companies which manufacture air and gas compressors, pneumatic machinery and air and gas drying equipment; products which have myriad applications worldwide in construction, manufacturing, mining and the process and natural gas industries.
