Rotary Air Compressor Selection Guide
The Compressed Air & Gas Institute has published a sixteen page brochure presenting the several types of rotary positive displacement compressors, their capacity controls, instrumentation and related accessories. The guide, Rotary Air Compressor Selection Guide, is a basic primer on the various rotary air compressors designs offered on the market today including oil-flooded and oil-free rotary screw compressors, oil injected single screw and rotary sliding vane compressors, rotary scroll compressors and PTO (Power Take-off) compressors. The fundamental working principles of these compressor types are presented with photographs and illustrations supplemented by a comprehensive glossary of terms.
